A renowned Islamic scholar, Professor Abubakr Imam Ali-Agan, has called on leaders at all levels to embrace an open-door policy and remain truthful and sincere in the discharge of their duties.
Professor Ali-Agan of University of Ilorin made the call while speaking during his weekly Islamic Programme, Madrasat Muhammad, on Radio Nigeria – Harmony FM, Idofian.
He urged those in positions of authority to prioritise the welfare of the masses, stressing that good governance is built on transparency, accountability, and compassion for citizens.
On security, Professor Ali-Agan appealed to government to strengthen proactive measures to address the rising challenges across the country, noting that safety of lives and property must remain a top priority.
He also encouraged citizens to demonstrate patriotism, support security agencies, and contribute positively to nation-building.
