Tragedy: 38-Year-Old Man Commits Suicide In Nasarawa State.
A 38-year-old man, identified as Gabriel Iliya Magaji has allegedly committed suicide in the Masaka Community of Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
Staff members of Crystal School in Masaka found body of the man hanging in one of the classrooms.
The incident was confirmed by the Police Public Relations Officer in the State, DSP Nansel Ramhan, through an audio message sent to Radio Nigeria via social media.
According to DSP Ramhan, staff members of Crystal School in Masaka reported to the police that an unidentified man was found hanging in one of the classrooms.
Responding swiftly to the report, a team of officers, led by the Divisional Police Officer of the area, arrived at the scene.
The body was retrieved and transported to the General Hospital in Mararaba, where it was confirmed dead by the attending doctor.
DSP Ramhan noted that no suicide note was found at the scene, and the deceased’s body has since been placed in the mortuary.
The State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Shehu Nadada, has ordered a thorough investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.
