Aromata Development Association ADA has endorsed Dr. Muyideen Olaniyi Salako for the 2027 Kwara State governorship, calling for unity among Kwara South political stakeholders to secure victory.


Speaking at a press conference, the group’s chairman, Evangelist Sunday Ajileye, described arometa as a community-driven body focused on development, economic empowerment, and improved infrastructure across the district.
The association stressed that power rotation remains vital, insisting Kwara South is well-positioned to produce the next governor, given its electoral strength across seven local government areas.
Evangelist Ajileye explained that its endorsement followed a careful review of aspirants, highlighting Salako’s leadership capacity, grassroots reach, and development agenda centered on agriculture, infrastructure, and youth empowerment.
While noting that other aspirants are qualified, the group urged them to rally behind a single candidate, warning that division could cost the district the governorship race.
The association also threw its weight behind the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027, citing ongoing reforms and national development efforts.
The Arometa however called on the national body of All progressive Congress to consider their choice of candidate as their best ,also appeal for unity, describing the 2027 election as decisive for Kwara South’s political future.
