Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has condemned the latest attack in Eruku, Ekiti Local Government Area, requesting urgent deployment of additional security personnel to the axis.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, the Governor described the incident as “unconscionable,” sympathising with the people of Eruku, affected families, and the CAC community targeted in Tuesday’s attack.

Governor AbdulRazaq assured that the state government will continue to support security agencies to protect lives and property across the state.

Meanwhile, Governor AbdulRazaq commended President Bola Tinubu for deploying Nine Hundred additional troops to Kwara, saying the move has already restored calm in previously troubled areas.

He expressed confidence that the new troops will further strengthen security and ensure lasting peace.
