Members of the Kwara State Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ilorin will soon have internet facility to ease their work.
This followed approval of installation of Internet facility at the Press Center of the Council by Senator representing Kwara Central Senator District, Salihu Mustapha.
Senator Mustapha announced this after an Iftar with journalists at his residence in Ilorin.
He said the installation of the Internet facility at Press Centre would assist journalists in filing their stories promptly with ease.
The Senator, who is the Chairman, Senate Committee on Agricultural Production and Rural Services, noted that the gesture was geared towards ensuring that journalists in the State perform their duties in a conducive environment and minimize their expenses on internet subscriptions.
Senator Mustapha pledged to always be of assistance to the Council whenever the need arises.
