Kwara State Government has assured its readiness towards providing an enabling environment for all development partners operating in the state to make life better for the residents.
The State Commissioner for Planning and Economic Development, Dr Mary Arinde stated this when she received delegates from the Royal Heritage Health Foundation and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), who paid a visit to discuss expanded support and interventions in the state.
Dr Mary Arinde noted that the present administration remains open to partners whose mission aligns with rebuilding and strengthening the state economic system for improved governance and service delivery.
The Commissioner commended the Royal Heritage Health Foundation for its ongoing developmental interventions and its steadfast support for the strategic vision of the state government in building a rebranded and progressive state .
The Chief Executive Officer, Royal Heritage Health Foundation, Professor Olusoji Soguro, appreciated the state government for providing a conducive atmosphere that enables development partners to thrive.
He acknowledged the smooth collaborations his Foundation has enjoyed with the state.
Professor Soguro announced a newly approved UNFPA-backed project which aims to boost children and women’s morale, promote female education and advance women’s empowerment across the State.
He reiterated the agency’s readiness to continue its partnership with the State government to ensure the successful implementation of impactful projects.
