A total of One thousand, three hundred 2025 Batch B Stream Two of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC members deployed to Kwara State have been sworn in for their three-week orientation course at the temporary camp, Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin.
The swearing-in exercise, held under tight security, was administered by the Chief Judge of Kwara State, Justice Abiodun Adebara, who was represented by Justice Yusuf Adebayo of the State High Court.
In his address, the Governor of Kwara State, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, represented by the Commissioner for Youth Development and Chairman of the NYSC Governing Board, Alhaji Shehu Ndanusa, noted that the scheme has continued to provide a unique platform for youths to channel their intellect, skills, energy, and talents towards national growth and development.
The governor urged the corps members to be security conscious and to remain committed to the orientation activities designed to prepare them for leadership roles in building a greater Nigeria.
As part of the state government’s continued support for the scheme, the Commissioner handed over sets of bed bunks to the NYSC management.

In his remarks, the State Coordinator, Mr. Olaoluwa Onifade, who appreciated the government for providing a temporary orientation camp in view of security concerns in some parts of the state, noted that the NYSC has continued to live up to the purpose for which it was established.
Mr Onifade also charged the youth to obey rules and regulations guiding the orientation course and take advantage of skills and entrepreneurship programmes to become self employed after their service year.
