
The Director General, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN, Dr. Mohammed Bulama has commistrated with the people of Idofian in Ifelodun Local Government as well as the Kwara State Government over the demise of Oludofian of Idofian, Oba Mohammed Jamiu Omikunle.
Dr. Mohammed Bulama during a condolence visit to Idofian community, described the late monarch as a symbol of peace, a bridge-builder, and a strong supporter of community development, whose short reign brought significant progress and harmony to Idofian and its environs.
The Director General, represented by the North Central Zonal Director of the FRCN, Mallam Haruna Idris, noted that the late Oludofian played a pivotal role in fostering cordial relationships between the community and Radio Nigeria – Harmony FM, especially in the area of security, development, and public enlightenment.

He said that the monarch’s contributions to nation-building through his wisdom, leadership, and guidance would be greatly missed.
Dr. Mohammed Bulama prayed for the repose of the soul of the monarch, and urged the royal family and the entire Idofian community to bear the irreplaceable loss.
General Manager, Radio Nigeria – Harmony FM, Idofian, Hajia Binta Abubakar Mora had earlier described the late Oludofian as a father figure to the station whose wise counsel and support contributed immensely to its peaceful operation in the town.

Receiving the FRCN delegation on behalf of the community, the Osolo of Idofian, Mr Malik Kazeem thanked the Director General, the Zonal Director, the General Manager and the management team for the visit, noting that the gesture was a testimony to the good relationship between the late monarch and the FRCN family.
Chief Malik Kazeem assured Radio Nigeria of the community’s continued support.
Those on the entourage of the Zonal Director included the Deputy Director Administration, Mallam Nma Ibrahim and Assistant Director News Shimataver Aondoakaa.

The visit is a renewed commitment by FRCN to continue to promote unity, peace, and cultural heritage in Idofian and beyond.
